ELS International Certification Policy

The purpose of this policy is to assure ELS customers worldwide a uniform standard of quality, safety, and assurance. Each company that is a member of the ELS family of operators must be certified by ELS. The certification standards are:

  1. Company
    (a) A valid operating permit for each jurisdiction in which the company operates including permits for each airport serviced as required.
    (b) A certificate of insurance from a recognized insurer for motor vehicle liability with an appropriate value of no less than $1 million per occurrence, naming ELS as an additional insured.
  2. Chauffeurs
    (a) Clean DMV records and participating in DMV reporting procedures on a continuous basis.
    (b) Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and post employment random testing.
    (c) Completion of on road and off road training through a training provider or in house. The training procedures used in it to be submitted by ELS.
  3. Vehicles
    (a) Current vehicles as appropriate to the service area.
    (b) A pro-active vehicle preventative maintenance program with verifiable records maintained in each vehicle.

To enforce these policies, ELS shall maintain records which are updated annually. All companies are subject to inspection and audit by an ELS representative on an annual basis or more frequently if required.

In the event of any service irregularity, a written explanation of the cause of the problem and the remedial action to be taken shall be submitted to ELS within 24 hours of occurrence.
